Drones & unmanned systems
Harnesses specified around weight, space and vibration.
In a commercial or industrial unmanned system — aerial, ground or marine — the harness links the battery, motor controllers, sensors, cameras and radio modules inside a frame with little room and constant vibration. Wire gauge, routing, connector retention and any sealing are confirmed against your wiring diagram and requirements before anything is built.
What drone and unmanned-system builders need
Battery and power distribution leads
Battery-to-distribution-board leads with the high-current connectors you specify, sized to your continuous and peak current.
Motor and ESC harnesses
Three-phase motor leads and controller signal wiring, cut to arm length and protected where they pass through the frame.
Controller and sensor harnesses
GPS, IMU, rangefinder and telemetry leads on fine-pitch connectors, built to your pinout and labeled per port.
Camera and gimbal cabling
Thin, flexible power and signal leads for gimbals and payload cameras; shielding and flex needs confirmed against the payload.
Radio and antenna leads
Coax pigtails and module interconnects for control, video and telemetry links — connector, length and routing per your layout.
Payload and ground-equipment cables
Payload interface harnesses, charging leads and ground-station cables, overmolded or sealed where the requirement calls for it.
What gets checked before the PO
Unmanned systems are short on weight and space, and everything on them vibrates. These details are confirmed before a harness is quoted.
| Weight and space | Wire gauge, insulation and bundle size chosen against your weight budget and the routing space in the frame |
| Current | Continuous and peak current per circuit, battery voltage and connector type — conductors sized to your figures and confirmed before quoting |
| Vibration | Strain relief, tie-down points and service loops per your drawing; any vibration testing is agreed per project |
| Connector retention | Locking or latching connector series and any secondary retention — sourced as specified, never silently substituted |
| Environment | Operating temperature, moisture, dust and UV exposure. Sealing or an ingress rating is a requirement to confirm, not a default |
| Signal integrity | Shielding, and separation of power, video and RF runs, per your layout |
| Testing and records | Continuity and pull-force per the agreed plan; workmanship class and records agreed in the quotation. No aerospace-specific certification is claimed |
